HW #17: Cyber-bullying wrap-up

  • I could apply what I learned in class to situations in my own life by helping others that are being bullied. I could comfort those on the edge of committing suicide and get them the help that they need.
  • I have witnessed cyber-bullying in the past and have not done anything about it. Nothing prevented me from taking action, I was just too selfish to care. When I think back to it now, I realize that I should have done something to help.
  • It is important to de-escalate online cruelty whenever it is seen because the target could get really hurt, both physically and mentally.
